Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks on July 3rd beginning at 6 pm
Steel Cross will return for this years live entertainment & the Washington Fire Dept. will have the sprinkler to run through!
The Independence Day Fireworks 50/50 cash raffle tickets are now on sale! They are 2 tickets- $5 or 5 tickets-$10. The drawing will be on July 3rd immediately before the fireworks. You do not have to be present to win. Please visit these locations to purchase:

If you do not want to participant in the raffle but would like to contribute, donations are being accepted at the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce or at F & M Main Bank. Every donation counts! The fireworks display is supported by a grassroots effort of the community and your donation is needed. The fireworks can only happen if the $6000 needed is raised for the display!
Vendor applications are now being accepted for July 3rd. Please stop by the Chamber/Welcome Center to pick up your application. Space and electricity is extremely limited so don't wait!
