Exhibit showcasing the wives of owners and women owners of the Robert Toombs House from 1797-1973. Period correct costumes and items will be featured.
The exhibit corresponds with a special event sponsored by Friends of Mary Willis Library and Washington-Wilkes Historical Foundation on Sept. 25th, VICTORIAN WOMEN IN LITERATURE, presented by Sloane Meyer, a historian, educator and spirited lecturer.
